Ana’s strengths are…

Ana's strengths are giving ideas and suggestions to inspire authors and to solve plot problems. She loves listening to authors and brainstorming ideas to add humor and heart.

She also loves to work on word choice to make the manuscript more poetic and filled with emotion. She is in favor of art notes since art can complement the text so well and make the story more fun.

What Ana is looking for…

Ana is looking for a mentee who writes funny stories filled with heart. The mentee should be willing to try new versions and be open-minded to new ideas. She wants someone who is willing to review, review, and review until the manuscript sings.

She is willing to have Zoom meetings to brainstorm ideas and solutions. The author is always the one who makes the final decision, but being flexible and open to new ideas will make things easier.

A Note from Ana:

“I will get pretty impressed if you can show me your voice through your application and story.”
